After its first round that promises to bring to the fore literature and research that is adaptable, scalable, and practicable – LEAF is happy to announce that, as of the 1st of June 2019, it is accepting preliminary applications for the second round of the LEAF Fellowship.
Instated in the memory of its founder, Prof. Prabhakar B. Bhagwat, the Fellowship hopes to further research in areas that were of interest to him – Landscape Design, Plant Material, Botany, Archaeology, Anthropology, Vedic Literature, and History, amongst others.
Individuals, or groups of individuals who have a demonstrated background in research, and have a keen interest in these fields, and allied fields, are welcome to apply for the Fellowship.
Much like the organization itself, the LEAF Fellowship aims at promoting adaptable and practicable research that can extend well beyond the immediate context and circumstances under which the research was originally conducted. It aims to look at fields that have the ability to govern the discourse on urbanity, environment, and culture on a larger; constantly drawing connections between these ideas.
