21.05_ Architectural Research Writing

This workshop focuses on developing the analytical and writing skills required to conduct architectural research. It is designed for final year students and fresh graduates who would like to critically engage with the built environment and coherently communicate their findings. It will help you organize your research and explore effective methods of reading and writing. It will also help you position your research and develop a clear argument.

The workshop will be discussion and activity based. It will consist of 6 group sessions and 3 individual mentoring sessions per student. Students are encouraged to participate in discussions and maintain pace by working on individual/group assignments. Google classroom will be used for assignment submissions and feedback. The workshop will be conducted on Google Meet and Google Jamboard will be used to record key points from discussions.

At the end of the workshop, each student will submit an article of approximately 1000 words (including footnotes and references), which will be published on the Archidiaries Website.
