About Competition
The Social Business Design Competition (SBDC) is a global platform looking for youth-driven entrepreneurial solutions in the form of a social business idea that has a social or environmental impact and is revenue-generating.
The competition is looking for youth from all over the world who can bring unique, equitable ideas that are aligned with Sustainable Development Goals and moulding real solutions by designing their very own Social Business model. The competition is welcoming ideas and early-stage enter addressing problems in: Environment and Climate Change, Microsoft, Agriculture, Technology and Innovation, Waste, Circular Economy, Tourism, Wash, Employment, Sports, Health, and Well-being, and more.

The Social Business Design Competition is hosted by Yunus Centre, Yunus & You- the YY Foundation and the Catholic University of Zimbabwe. YY Ventures, an incubation and investment Social Business founded in partnership with ‘Yunus Centre’, the global think tank for Social Business created by Nobel Peace Prize Winner Professor Muhammad Yunus to advance the growth of social businesses.
