María Teresa Sánchez Táboas

María Teresa Sánchez Táboas (Pontevedra, 1988) is an architect graduated from Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid ( ETSAM UPM 2014). For a year, she studied at the IIT in Chicago, where her project “New Library for the IIT” with Professor Sou Fujimoto was chosen within the Open House Exhibition and awarded the Dean’s List. After her return from Chicago, she studied at FAUP Porto to deepen on urban scale projects and architecture history. In 2017, she founded Gramatica Arquitectónica, a studio that ranges from sugar towers design to industrial warehouses, turning stories and atmospheres into objects and architecture. Among her works, there are single-family houses, restaurants, interior renovations or centerpieces that turn into plates.
