The winners of the Green Product Award and the Green Concept Award have been announced. With a record number of 1463 submissions, more participants than ever before have applied. In total, the ideas and products, concepts and materials for creating a more sustainable future come from 6 continents.
Insights to the Green Future:
What does a green future look like and what fits into “Future Village” (award theme)? Winners and nominees will give examples from the categories of architecture, bathroom, electronics, fashion, children, consumer goods, mobility, outdoor, office and interior. The Green Product Award &Green Concept format provides an insight of what is already possible today and will continue to move the green scene in the future. Three examples:
“Desserto” – Winner Material category
The vegan leather alternative made of cactus is ripe for use in interior covers, clothing and accessories.
“No Footprint House (NFH)”: Winner Architecture category as newcomer
A component system for sustainable house building. Invented in Costa Rica, ready to enchant Germany too!
“The Golden Phoenix” – Collaboration project
a golden dress with sequins of algae and fabric of Peace-Silk silk, naturally dyed with Kukurma. The first Green Product Club project.
