About Competition

We want to work with you to explore and think about shifting your current lifestyles and ways of designing toward a future in which humans are a part. a giving not distracting part, of nature.

We would like to stimulate ideas and mechanisms to rebuild the connection between architecture and nature. We sincerely look forward to your participation in this mindset changing design, so we can pass on with you a better place for youth to grow and connect. This youth hub lies on the periphery of the beautiful hilly City of Coquitlam, BC, Canada. The area is full of old-grown forests, and walking trails. The city has a moderate coastal climate with average summer highs of 24C and winter lows of 1C. The city is relatively new with elegant neighborhoods.

In this hub, a calming pattern of green areas and natural features, evoke the feel of nature and “biophilia” – the love for life. It is providing a natural exciting environment for the youth to grow, exercise. and connect. Incorporate biophilia* in the most innovative and exciting ways to design an inspiring place for our young generation. Foster gathering. healing and self-expression!
