Jury Comments

The subject matter needs to have the contrast of the opposite – focus, and clarity – to convey this in a stronger way. This was achieved successfully in some but not all of the series. The runner in the first image would have provided good scale and a stronger composition if they were not cut off the edge of the frame, as well as anchoring the ‘human’ aspect of the competition theme. Overall a nice mood was achieved._ Jessica Maurer

The concept of photographing a series on one day in the fog makes for a lovely sequence that evokes mystery and contemplation. The monochrome feel of the color photos is a nice touch._ Robin Hill
