André Scarpa

André Scarpa is an architect graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto in Portugal. He worked from 2009 to 2011 in the office of the architect António Madureira where he developed projects in collaboration with the architect Álvaro Siza, including the New Library of the Faculty of Law of Coimbra, a single-family residence in Maia and an urbanization with mixed-use buildings, also in Maia. In 2011 he collaborated with the Ferreira-Leite office on projects of various scales. In 2012 she joined the team at Vivá Arquitetura and from 2012 to 2018 she joined the team at Nitsche Arquitetos. Since 2013 he also works as an architecture photographer and develops tours with interest in the same area. In 2018 he opened the André Scarpa office where he dedicates himself to project activity, architectural photography and itineraries for architectural tours,among other activities related to this universe.

As a photographer he had his work published in the main portals in the area such as ArchDaily, Galeria da Arquitetura, Revista Projeto and Revista Arquitetura & Construção.

The architecture tours are developed with Superbacana +, the company in which he is responsible for architectural activities.

The architectural projects are developed in partnership with the architect Rosário Pinho.

Rosário Pinho is an architect graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto in Portugal. He worked from 1993 to 2011 in the office of the architect António Madureira where he developed projects in collaboration with the architect Álvaro Siza, including a single-family residence in Sintra, the second phase of the Bouça Housing Complex, in Porto, and the Parque dos Navegantes residential complex, also in Porto. She was part of the Nitsche Arquitetos team from 2012 to 2018. Since 2018 she has been a partner at André Scarpa.
