Diana Barros (Principal Architect)
Diana Barros is an architect from the Porto Higher School of Art. She has work experience with the Bailiff-Loponte et Associes studio in Geneva, Switzerland.
Practice Ideology
Diana Barros and her collaborators are concerned with applying the values of social and environmental responsibility, focusing on users and their needs, with particular attention to the design of collective spaces that generate social bonds. The team seeks to encourage the owner to invest in the long term to reduce, as much as possible, the impact of human activities on the ecosystem.
In the context of strict respect for the environment, which constitutes one of the most important commitments of this century, they undertake to consider any project, giving great importance to the choice of materials and the energy used (as well as their recycling method at the end of their life), limiting the negative impacts of construction on nature.
