Jun Murata
Born in 1976 in Osaka, Japan. He studied in design at Kindai University, under Shinichi Ogawa in Hiroshima, Japan. After graduated in 1999, he worked the architectural design firm of Takashi Yamaguchi in Osaka, Japan.
Their minimal and sophisticated design policy had a profound influence on him.
He was in charge in some He has practiced in several architectural works in Japan, design competitions and projects abroad, and has also focused on architectural education at universities until 2011 when he established his own office JAM.
Since 2012, at the beginning of his career, the rehabilitation of several multi-tenant buildings and old apartments was no big project. A year later, his range of design activity was extended to Shanghai, where he also participated in giant projects and competitions in China.
