She has taught at UC Berkeley and the California College of the Arts and has been a member of a number of local organizations, including LINE (the journal of the American Institute of Architects San Francisco), the AIASF/SFMOMA Lecture Committee, the San Francisco School District’s Citizens Advisory Committee, and the Board of Trustees of the Universalist Church of San Francisco.

Practice Ideology

Paulett founded the firm in 1986 with the premise that excellence in design not only enriches the lives of the people who live in, work in, and use their buildings, but also enhances the public realm and surrounding community. Whether housing, a community facility, or a private commission, Paulett brings to each project sensitivity, commitment to the client’s needs, and a focus on making elegant buildings that endure. The quality of the firm’s work has been recognised by dozens of awards and by Paulett’s elevation to AIA Fellow in 2007.
