Octavio Arreola Calleros

Born in Guadalajara, Jalisco in 1967, residing in the City of León Gto. Since 1980. He studied Architecture at the Universidad Iberoamericana, Campus León. He collaborated with several design and construction workshops until 1992, the year in which he began his independent work as a founding partner of taller5 architects. In 2001 he participated in the Designing the New Era Workshops organized by the Vitra/G Foundation. Pompidou, in Boisbuchet, France.

He has been a member of various councils, including: the Advisory Council for the Architectural Contest of the New Legislative Palace of the H. Congress of the State of Guanajuato, Design and Construction Council of the National Museum of Leather and Footwear (MUNPIC), Counselor of the Cultural Institute of León in the administration 2012-2015 and 2015-2018.

He works as a professor at the Tec. de Monterrey campus León and at De La Salle University, he has been a guest speaker at several universities, from the area of ​​architecture and in different interior design forums.

Elisa Lerma García de Quevedo

Born in the city of León Guanajuato in 1968. He studied Architecture at the Universidad Iberoamericana, Plantel León. During her studies, she is selected to represent the UIA in the first national meeting of architecture students (ASINEA) achieving an honorable mention, and obtaining her degree for Academic Excellence. During this period, she participates in partnership with several design and construction workshops until 1992, the year in which she participates as a founding partner of taller5 architects, where she continues to develop architectural and interior design projects. His work has been published and recognized by different national and international media. The professor was invited by the UIA and a Member of the Prisma Award curatorship and selection council from 2013 to date.

We are an Architecture and Design workshop that carries out projects attending with great sensitivity and a particular point of view on the aesthetics and functional needs of society, using our ability to conceptualize projects of any scale.

To be the best architecture office in the center of Mexico, devoting meticulous care to the conceptualization, details and execution of the projects, taking care of the entire development process until it´s materialized on site.

Since its creation, Taller5 arquitectos has manifested itself in the conceptualization and development of architectural and design projects of different types and scales. Their ability to understand the architectural space has allowed them to participate in residential areas, public spaces, commercial developments, and cultural and ephemeral spaces, with openness and curiosity about the possible solutions applicable to each project.

Their particular point of view regarding architecture, and space and their interest in social and sustainable aspects have allowed them to express their values, principles and ideals in each project and work carried out; always manifesting the optimal use of material and financial resources.
