Harini Chaya Suresh
As the principal architect at V+H Design Studio, Harini Chaya Suresh embodies the ethos of excellence, steering the firm towards new horizons of creativity and ingenuity. Graduating from Mohammed Sathak A.J. Academy of Architecture with a bachelor’s degree, she embarked on a transformative journey that would shape her into the visionary architect she is today. The crucible beckoned, and Harini seized every opportunity to hone her skills within top design studios. Over the course of six enriching years, she immersed herself in the execution of diverse projects, though she is personally inclined towards residential architecture and interiors. Her love for art and being an artist herself draws inspiration from a diverse array of artistic movements, and she imbues her designs with a nuanced appreciation for form, texture, colour, and composition.
Practice Ideology
The practice believes in the transformative power of architecture to shape environments and experiences, transcending mere functionality and inspiring the connection of spaces with people and memories.
Beyond mere aesthetics, their commitment to artistry extends to the very essence of the firm’s design philosophy—a belief in the power of architecture to elevate the human spirit, evoke emotion, and inspire wonder. Whether through sculptural forms that engage the senses or immersive spatial experiences that invite contemplation, their work reflects a deep-seated conviction in the transformative potential of art-infused architecture.
They believe that architecture is not just a profession but a deeply personal expression of creativity—an opportunity to channel their passion for art into tangible, lived experiences that enrich the lives of those who inhabit their spaces.
