Excerpt: Athavale’s Residence, a home interior by Chaukhat Design Studio, showcases a minimal design dwelling that evokes a sense of comfort and warmth. The interior strikes a perfect balance between functionality, modernism and comfort by embracing the philosophy of ‘less is more’ using elements like muted colours, decluttered spaces, modern furniture with white profiling over the wooden finish volumes, natural lighting & accents of green in the form of plants.
Project Description
[Text as submitted by architect] Designed to suit the nuclear lifestyle this 3-BHK apartment in Vadodara showcases a minimal design dwelling that evokes a sense of comfort and warmth.

This underlying concept of creating a de-cluttered, minimal yet welcoming abode that celebrates brightness by making the most of natural light was articulated using Scandinavian design style.

Each area in space planning is accomplished by the thoughtful composition of design elements, clean lines, reduction, understated monotone palette, use of light oak-wood tone furniture with compass legs; a feature common for this design style, white walls, textiles and textures ranging from greyscale to tones of beige and browns.

This look and feel of harmony are carried along in the entire house by the repetitive use of the soothing texture of wood and white decor which seamlessly ties all spaces together.
