Design Concept: The design of this meditation center reinterprets traditional religious architecture by combining elements of both a Vihara and a Stupa into a unified form while integrating with the surrounding modern buildings. The design minimizes architectural elements to allow natural light and the building’s structure to blend seamlessly according to the section plane. The structure features steel trusses arranged vertically and light shelves in the horizontal plane, serving as both walls and ceilings to reflect indirect light into the space, creating an ambiance that varies with external weather conditions.

Entrance Design: The entrance design is inspired by the Sukhothai-era Wat Si Chum, which is known for its distinctive narrowing space before reaching the Buddha statue (Phra Ajana). This concept has been adapted to create an entry to a space of light. The landscape surrounding the building features a reflecting pond to mirror the external building at various times.
