Trisoux Bar | Martino Hutz Architecture

Trisoux Bar is a bar designed by the architectural firm Martino Hutz Architecture. Crowd simulation was used to analyze optimal floor area usage and generate varied atmospheres within the space. A parametrically derived double curved surface is generated from this data that defines the character of each space and intuitively guides the visitor towards particular experiences.

Airavat | Lyth Design + reD Architects

Airavat is a residence designed by the architectural firms Lyth Design and reD Architects. The capturing and framing of these picturesque landscapes were the primary inspiration behind the Design. The disruptive architecture creates spaces of varying scales, from monumental to cozy. At the same time, it integrates into the home and the nature surrounding it. The arrival is planned at the highest level under a large canopy that appears like a wing framing the first glimpse of this home in the Clouds.

lyth Design

lyth Design is a boutique design atelier based in Mumbai found by Apoorva Shrooff in 2022. Her expertise has enabled her to steer the “lyth-chapter” forward and create out-of-the-box solutions within the verticals of Architecture, Interior, Product, and Graphic Design. The unique name of the practice takes inspiration from the word “lyth,” translating to a joint that binds and supports the movement. Striving better to connect the world through spatial storytelling and clear articulation, this analogy is indeed fitting to its focus.

reD Architects

reD Architects is a multidisciplinary architectural firm based in Mumbai found by Rajiv Parekh and Ekta Puri. The purpose was to set up a design practice with a process-oriented design approach. We strive to achieve the client’s goals through the process of research. Our team ensures that the design solution generates an environment that surpasses trends and fads by offering a more enriching spatial experience.

Olivos | TATŪ Arquitectura

Olivos is a residence designed by the architectural firm TATŪ Arquitectura. We decided to add some adjustments to the client’s premises that would enhance spatial sequences capable of stimulating the uses. By manipulating the flexibility of interior expansion-segmentation without difficulties, we moved away from the result of a too geometrical functional schematism. The first incorporated the exterior – interior transition through the contained space by projecting the volumes of the second level, generating two eaves of reception and an extension of the interior space.

One Green Mile | MVRDV + studioPOD

One Green Mile is an urban space designed by the architectural firm MVRDV collaborating with the urban design firm studioPOD. StudioPOD initially solved the traffic and street profiles and helped to define the program and identify the target groups. Expanding upon this, MVRDV designed sinuous blue stripes to create a cohesive visual identity across all elements of the space, creating a concept for One Green Mile that offers a delightful and holistic urban spatial experience. A hilly paved landscape transforms the 2-dimensional visual features into a 3D spatial experience, accommodating various programs and providing a dynamic physical attraction.

studioPOD

studioPOD is an urban design studio based in Mumbai. The firm’s highly collaborative approach allows them to work seamlessly with private- and public- sector clients such as local municipal corporations, development authorities, and other government agencies. The projects are of varying scales, including strategic and regional plans, transportation and campus plans, landscape urbanism, placemaking, and streetscapes.

The Hunkered House | LIJO.RENY.architects

The Hunkered House is a residence designed by the architectural firm LIJO.RENY.architects. What looks like a single-storey building from the outside is a strategically designed house with multiple levels that hunkers down gently into the slope to protect it from all kinds of pollution generated by the heavy traffic on the road. A large landscaped courtyard inside the house and four smaller peripheral pockets are primary ventilation sources. The Hunkered House reflects the unassuming lifestyle of the homeowners, be it the form of the building, the choice of materials, interior décor, and accessories.

FTMO Office | YUAR

FTMO Office is a corporate space designed by the architectural firm YUAR. From a design point of view, the architectural brief aimed at a more serious and representative place, which would reflect the company’s professional approach and technical prowess. Height-adjustable desks with four monitor arms were necessary to optimize the work process and ensure comfort for each employee. The new office combined quietness, efficiency, and fun, emphasizing strengthening the community atmosphere.

YUAR Architects is a corporate architectural firm based in Prague founded by architect Lukáš Janáč. He and his team are today one of the most successful developers of office interiors in the Czech Republic. YUAR architects specialize in the realization of office interiors and corporate architecture.

Tsingpu Yangzhou Retreat | Neri & Hu Design and Research office

Tsingpu Yangzhou Retreat is an adaptive reuse hospitality project designed by the architectural firm Neri & Hu. The design brief called for the adaptive reuse of several old buildings by giving them new functions while adding new buildings to accommodate the hotel’s capacity needs. Neri&Hu’s strategy to unify these scattered elements was to overlay a grid of walls and paths onto the site to tie the entire project together, resulting in multiple courtyard enclosures. The inspiration for the design originates from the courtyard house typology of Chinese vernacular architecture.
