INTRODUCTION

Switzerland is a mountainous country in Central Europe, with several lakes, villages, and the high peaks of the Alps. It is famous for its ski resorts and hiking trails.

The route across the Alps is one of the most beautiful places to see in Switzerland. There are countless hiking trails to do and in any of them, you can enjoy dreamlike views. Snow, ice, and even glaciers prevail in these landscapes, much of the year. The Julier Pass is a mountain pass in Switzerland, in the Albula Alps, in the Grisons region.

It is a pass that was used since ancient times to cross from the northern part of Europe to the south. The landscapes that are crossed are unique, so they are highly visited by tourists and locals, in addition to the sensation of vertigo that their roads produce. This route is one of the best in Switzerland in the Alps area.

An Art Pavilion will be conceptualized as a cultural and artistic space in the middle of the snowy landscape of the Swiss Alps, next to the Julien Pass mountain pass at 2,300m above sea level.

It will function as an obligatory stop for the rest and contemplation of the visitors who travel the natural landscape by car. Its strategic location will serve as a connection between the Hospice and the Julien Theater located in the area.

The SNOW ART PAVILION will be an architectural element of contemplation that can be visited by visitors throughout the year and can contain spaces for temporary exhibitions (summer) such as art fairs. Your very presence will become a milestone on the road. The pavilion will have a coffee shop and a gazebo. It should be designed as a construction that can withstand the incidents of time and easy maintenance. At all times the natural landscape must be prioritized.
