Project Description

(“Text as submitted by architect”)

Wissotzky is the biggest brand name for tea in Israel, with more than 150 years of tea history, its practically a synonym for tea drinks. The brief was to design a fun innovative space for creations of new and inspiring drinks and snacks, all made with dozens of kinds of tea flavors that will appeal a younger crowed of customers.

Creating a new design for this old school brand was complicated – on one hand being innovative and contemporary, and on the other hand presenting the mother brand as respectfully as possible.
Our space was a 120 sqm rectangle in the center of Tel Aviv. The space Most prominent advantage was three different facades of the street.

We united them with a green herb garden that circled around the facades. A central symmetrical bar has been placed as the heart of the space, welcoming the walk-ins into the shop. It represents action, movement, exotic scents and a happening vibrant place you would want to explore.
