When You Attend, You Will Learn…
The talk is about the struggles, and more importantly, the realisations of an architect tied down to his home in this maha-lockdown. Our paradigms about architecture, and life in general, have been seriously questioned by this pandemic, and the resultant lockdown. In this age of a super-busy life that we have designed for ourself, this pause has questioned the fundamental definition of our life. I look at the design profession as a facilitator for creating spaces to accommodate and amplify life’s aspirations and urges. Now, that the life is set to change, and the new normal is going to be different, this is a humble endeavour to structure the incessant array of thoughts, and in the process, also an opportunity of life to understand my own house better!
