Live Interview with Katsushi Goto

Katsushi Goto is a practicing architect based in Mumbai and Tokyo, the director of design and research firm, Squareworks in Mumbai. Recently completed project #7 Southlands has been nominated for INSIDE award, World Architecture Festival 2018 and Dezeen Award 2018 for residential Interiors. He studied at Housing and Urbanism, Architectural Association, London. His current research focuses on the domesticity associated with the materiality of ideal-family home and the intersection of politics of public domain and interior urbanism. He served as senior assistant professor at Meiji University in Tokyo to programme and coordinate international workshops with seven institutions within Southeast Asia. He is a studio tutor, Bachelor of Urban Design Faculty of Planning CEPT University, Ahmedabad, India. He is also founding member of SqW:Lab (https://sqwlab.com/) which is a research fellowship programme in Mumbai for cultural practitioners from all over the world.
