Anna O’ Gorman
With 20 years of experience in architecture, Anna has developed the professional confidence necessary to engage in a practice that is characterised by curiosity rather than a prescriptive methodology.
She has worked with award-winning studios in Brisbane and established Anna O’Gorman Architects in 2016 to collaborate closely with clients. Valuing this client-first approach above all else, Anna possesses an empathetic understanding of the relationship between people and place. She balances this insight with design intellect to create work that maturely responds to the practical and lifestyle requirements of a project.
Anna’s forward-thinking practice has been shaped by a variety of rich professional experiences, including international architecture tours, design collaborations and invitations to teach at the University of Queensland.
Practice Ideology
Our Brisbane-based architecture studio was established in 2016. Since then we have rejected the tradition of adhering to a single discipline and aesthetic – instead, we engage in open conversations with you to create a thoughtfully executed outcome.
This focus drives every aspect of our studio – from the connection we build with you through to our interest in sustainable design, community and quality of life. Our inclusive approach allows us to fully explore the individuality of each space and has seen us named as ‘one to watch’ by Houses magazine and The Australian.
