Larry Wen
Mr. Wen Qun is originally from Xi’an and graduated with outstanding achievements from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona (Cal Poly Pomona) in the United States in 2001, receiving a graduate degree commendation. Cal Poly Pomona, known as the birthplace of the Southern California School, has produced globally renowned architectural masters such as Frank Gehry and Thom Mayne.
Mr. Wen has held positions as Design Director at prestigious architectural design firms, including Aedas, one of the world’s top design companies that excels in leveraging high-quality resources from both domestic and international contexts to provide optimal solutions for cutting-edge architectural designs. Aecom is celebrated globally for its expertise in delivering the best solutions for the most complex and challenging projects. Woods Bagot, a people-centred architectural design company, places a strong emphasis on user experiences, making them the core of their design philosophy and championing interactive, future-oriented design concepts. This Australian-based firm has consistently ranked among the top 10 global enterprises and holds the top spot as Australia’s largest architectural design company.
Bringing together the best practices from various renowned firms, Mr. Wen has accumulated remarkable design experience over a span of more than 30 years, gaining industry-wide recognition, acclaim, and accolades. His expertise extends across diverse fields, particularly in the design of large-scale projects, covering commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, education, cultural, and interior design, among others.
In 2016, Mr. Wen founded AOE Design Group, integrating premium design concepts from both domestic and international sources, leveraging his international perspective and experience. He has played a vital role in designing a series of iconic buildings, including Rongchuang Guobin No. 1 Courtyard in Chongqing, Guangzhou Road No. 1 Courtyard in Heze, Guoruiliangjiang City in Chongqing, Lianhua Lake Resort Hotel in Chongqing, and the Gulonggang Sales Centre, among others.
Ma Jianning
Ma Jianning graduated from Tongji University and has the qualifications of First-Class Registered Architect and Professor-Level Senior Engineer. He has served on many large-scale commercial complex projects, including the design of five-star hotels such as Marriott, Hilton, Crowne Plaza, and Shangri-La, and the superelevation of more than 200 meters. The design director of floor building design has participated in the review of multiple projects as an architectural design expert.
