AWMA’s work embodies storytelling through art and architecture.
Based in Brixton, AWMA is an experimental design collective that explores key themes prevalent within social, spiritual, economic, and urban realms—from celebrations to challenges—across the cultural spectrum with work that connects people and places.
With their commitment to crafting spaces that resonate with communities and respond to contemporary challenges, their journey has been guided by the belief that architecture is not merely about erecting structures but about nurturing communities. The designers have consistently placed communities at the heart of their projects, creating spaces that catalyse interaction, promote inclusivity, and address the evolving needs of the urban landscape in an engaging, meaningful, and playful way. Some of their projects are delivered in Brixton itself as well as across the UK and other parts of the world.
