Practice Ideology

Barsakh Architects is an architecture and design consultancy firm based in Ahmedabad, India. Since its inception in the year 2004, the firm has engaged itself with projects of diverse nature and scale, with a commitment towards a pragmatic and innovative approach in all endeavours. Each project offers a unique opportunity to define a ‘context’ for the design intervention in terms of people (client), communities, history and topography of the place. The firm seeks to find architecture and design solutions, for each project, in response to the ‘context’ along with simplicity of material palette, details and architectural language. At the same time, innovation and experimentation with emerging technology remains one of the key pillars of the practice.
