Rui Rosmaninho

Rui Rosmaninho was born in Coimbra, Portugal, in 1972. He studied architecture at the Faculty of Science and Technology at the University of Coimbra, where he graduated in 1997. He worked as a technician at Anadia City Council between 1997 and 2018. He developed an intense activity in local administration, within the scope of public works.

In 2018, he established private activity in an architectural office. The studio has worked on projects of different scales, including residential, industrial and cultural buildings. Among the works developed, the National Velodrome (Anadia High Performance Center), the Anadia Sports Pavilion, the Estarreja Municipal Swimming Pools complex and the Rehabilitation of the Cineteatro Alba, in Albergaria-a-Velha, stand out.

Practice Ideology

Rui Rosmaninho Arquitecto is a multidisciplinary practice specialising in architecture, design, and urbanism with an innovative, creative, and rigorous approach. Although each project is unique, their mission is always the same: transforming buildings into purposeful, people-focused, and people-oriented places.
