Founded in 2016 by partners Yifan Wu and Mengjie Liu, Sò Studio is an innovative interior and industrial design practice based in Shanghai. Its scope of work spans commercial complexes, retail spaces, hospitality, public institutions, offices, medical spaces, and private residential. Sò Studio is composed of a dynamic team with diverse backgrounds, all of whom have practiced in art and design with a global worldview.

Sò Studio conducts comprehensive research prior to schematic design, and they work closely with their clients to employ a bespoke design approach by following the authenticity of each project with emphasis on the cultural influence and unique form of the site. Their projects range from varied scales and types, from creative concepts for retail stores and hospitality to collaborating with top developers to re-image commercial interiors; hence, the diverse explorations enable them to place an emphasis on expressing narrative in spatial design. By applying imagination to their design language to create inspiring spaces with powerful visual impact, Sò Studio aspires to deliver a better vision of life and probe into the values of society while curating spatial design and user experience.
