Practice Ideology
Sascha Zander and Christian Roth founded the office zanderroth in Berlin in 1999. The young team aimed not just to consider architecture, but also construction. They therefore developed an effective building group concept, with which they have themselves developed and implemented numerous housing development projects in Berlin. In addition to their innovative focus of housing development, the office is equally committed to designing schools, developing technical office buildings and continuing consideration of unpopular prefabricated “Plattenbau” housing. The architecture of zanderroth architekten is characterized by a consistent concept, organization and design, as evident in the multi-award winning residential estate in Zelterstrasse, Liebigstrasse, Pasteurstrasse and Thulestrasse in Berlin.
