Mageshwaran Balasubramanian
As founder and Principal at ZEROGREY, Magesh brings immense experience to practice – he has worked on diverse projects including Mixed Use Developments, Integrated Townships, Institutional, Hospitality, Commercial, Residential and Corporate Interiors.
A graduate from Anna University – Chennai, Magesh started his career in Vinnu Ponnappa Architects(Dimensions) – Bangalore and went on to work with Senscape Architects – Bangalore.
He strongly believes that design evolves from a detailed understanding of the functions they must fulfil, the conditions they have to provide and the materials from which they are constructed.
He advocates a contextual approach to the design process which significantly enables distinctive and relevant design.
Karthikeyan Krishnaswamy
As founder and Principal at ZEROGREY, Karthik brings an expertise of handling large scale landscape and master planning projects – varying from IT Office Campus, Educational Institutions, High End Hospitality, Hotels, Farm Houses, Industrial, Theme Parks and Corporate Offices.
Karthik completed his Masters in Landscape Architecture from School of Architecture and Planning – Chennai. He was associated with Greenpiece Landscapes Pvt. Ltd and Site Concepts International and successfully completed design and implementation of many large scale projects.
He is passionate about achieving simplicity that disguises the complexities of a challenging brief through holistic and pragmatic approach. He always interrogates the available design possibilities and provides unconventional solutions.
Practice Ideology
ZEROGREY is a multidisciplinary design practice specialising in architecture, landscape and interior design. Our practice is an amalgamation of diverse talents that strive to encapsulate both cultural and climatic contexts to produce solutions that not only enhance the visual aspects but elevate the intangible experiences of a built environment. We are driven by empathy – we are driven by the ethos that in the minutest of details lies the answer to the bigger questions – we are driven by intuition and instinct – we are driven by the thirst to test the limits.
