Project Description
[Text as submitted by Architect] The house for Sergio and Gemma is a challenge for us. This project is about taking advantage of the old structure of a family block to make a new duplex and a small penthouse for them.
We started the project on the first floor, here the day area was designed as an open and flexible space. We worked with the possibility of mixing different coatings between the house and the outside terrace.
The second floor should be a quiet space, a prelude to the playful and hedonistic atmosphere of the penthouse. A space for pleasure, enjoyment and to transfer all that public activity from which we have protected the rest of the house.
