Practice Ideology

Attiks’ was formed with a vision of spreading innovative and sustainable architecture among the people. Led by four partners who are actively engaged in project work as a fundamental aspect of their culture, they are a group of architects, urban designers, and interior designers who possess an extraordinary depth of experience and expertise in programming, master planning, design, and project delivery. Passionately committed to an integrated design process, they continually strive to make their work highly responsive to the needs of their clients and enriching to the lives of the people and communities it serves.

The parent firm was founded by Ar. PK Aslam in 1997 under the name ‘M/s PK Aslam Architects’ and has emerged as one of the most reputed architectural service providers since its inception. In the face of overwhelming challenges and increasingly normative scenarios, the firm got associated with young and vibrant architects and thus laid the foundation of ‘attiks architecture’ in 2014. To ensure continuity of approach, consistently high quality, and continued development of innovative design investigations, project teams are supported by extensive research, design, and technical specialists.

With a deliberate focus on a variety of projects, Attiks Architecture has obtained a unique insight into how buildings can best release their full potential in close relation to their surroundings. Made useful to humans by urban understanding just like humans, buildings are social beings; architecture cannot live and prosper unless it relates to its environment. They strive towards their ideal of creating architecture that adapts while maintaining personality and character, which blends in by standing out.

By recognising the most important factors of each site’s urban fabric and social implications, Attiks has cultivated the art of conveying this abstract essence into a formal response, maintaining both the building itself and its relationship to its context, be it a small infill project in a crowded street or large buildings as part of an extensive transformation.
