He is a graduate in Architecture from MSRIT, Bangalore in the year 2002 . With a career spanning more than 17 years. He has been part of numerous prestigious projects which spans various typologies and scale
He founded Funktion Design in 2009 with a strong design philosophy wedded to a structuralist minimalism and that is not just visual. He is active in academia as a visiting faculty in colleges in Bangalore and as a jury evaluator. He was guest speaker at various. prestigious design forum and institutions
.I n 2016 he was shortlisted as the Top Ten Young Architect by. Indian Institute of Architects ,Karnataka Chapter
He is the recipient of the Top architect Award South Region at CWAB 2018. His work has been published in various national and international publications.
Practice Ideology
Architecture to us is a journey of processes. The ever shifting thought process and ideas that evolve develop and sometimes get reconfigured along this journey. The projects from which these ideas germinate and reappear are just part of this larger ideation journey.
Journey is also in terms of the transformation of space with ever changing time, users, light, season and weather and the sensitivity to that.
The great aspect about the cycle of design and building is the constant churning of old design ideas and the reprogramming that occurs when different situations, people and times come together and with an almost unpredictable nature which almost superfluously seem like an outcome of chance.
