Having travelled through the Middle East, North Africa, Asia, and Europe, Jarrett approaches architecture with a vision for humanity, variability, and connectivity.

Practice Ideology

Paperfarm Inc was started in 2012 by architects Jarrett Boor and Daniel Yao as a design-intensive practice headquartered in NYC with offices now in North Stonington, CT, and Taipei, Taiwan. With a range of work on a varied scale, Paperfarm seeks to explore design solutions to complex program and site constraints within urban and non-urban environments. Design is a multi-disciplinary effort, and Paperfarm eagerly overlaps rigorous research, materiality, program, form, and construction technology to address each client and project individually.

Paperfarm Inc remains active in exploring design as a process that yields unique constructed environments. They have completed single-family residences locally in New York and Connecticut, as well as in Taiwan. They currently have mixed-use, multi-family, and commercial designs in development.
