Carlos Quesnel

Recognized architect, born in the city of Mérida, Yucatán, a place where a special stamp of his projects has been captured. He has been a collaborator in different offices such as AS ARQUITECTURA S.C.P and Seijo Peón Arquitectos.

In 2009 he founded the company PROESUR, in which to this day he is part of the council. As a student he participated in several competitions, obtaining second place in the 20th ENEA (National Meeting of Architecture Students) in Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz. He is currently the CEO of the firm Quesnel Arqs that was founded in 2016, where his work has been highlighted for his great projects and collaborations with other architectural firms, projects that have been awarded in different categories, an example is El Palacio of Music that has been highlighted for being the Work of the year 2019.

The firm develops projects of different categories, from Housing projects; singlefamily and multi-family, offices, shops, squares and mixed uses, among others. Projects that have been published in several books, magazines and web pages on architecture and construction at a national and international level. Among his outstanding collaborations is the expansion of the Siglo XXI Convention Center, Plaza Península Montejo and, as mentioned above, El Palacio de la Música, projects that are located in the city of Merida, Yucatan.

Practice Ideology

We are a team of about twenty collaborators, architects and interior designers in its most, enthusiasts about design and the minimum detail in each of our projects.

We work together from the beginning in our designs, day by day, hand in hand with our clients, external collaborators and suppliers, trying to achieve the best possible result, guided by the team head, the Architect Carlos Quesnel Moguel.

We always try to mark every project with our talent and our passion for architecture, challenging ourselves to always give the best of us and our work.
