Rishit Shroff

Graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture (B-Arch) degree from the M. S. University of Baroda, in 1997.

Into his practice for the past 25 years, having successfully designed and executed several Projects in India & abroad.

Apart from Architecture, he has varied areas of interest that include Theater, TV Shows, and Caricaturing and is also a National level Swimmer in the Master’s category.

He also has a deep interest in Wildlife, studying reptiles, and has first-hand experience in handling snakes and other reptiles for the past 30 years.  He has also been working closely with the Gujarat State Forest Dept., being invited to Bird, Crocodile and Tiger censuses. Authored papers on snakes, published in peer reviewed journals, and is a core committee member, researching snakes in Gujarat. He has a wide teaching experience as follows:

External Jury member for the Final Year thesis program at Anant School of Architecture, Ahmedabad, and Sardar Patel University,  Vasad.

Final Year Thesis Guide M. S. University, Baroda.

2005-till date Visiting Faculty, National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT)

Practice Ideology

Rishit Shroff Architects a firm, headed by Rishit Shroff (Architect), providing comprehensive Architectural & Interior Design services for the past 25 years.  They have successfully designed and executed several Projects in the past, including in India and abroad, that include Residences, Commercial Establishments, Farm Houses, Medical Facilities, Restaurants, Sports Facilities, Resorts, etc.

Apart from that, they also specialize in Animal Habitat & Enclosure Designs, having designed Reptile Enclosures, Aquariums, Aviaries and Feline Enclosures for various zoos and nature parks across Gujarat.

Our Design Ideology is based on sustainability,  plenty of natural light, and wide spaces that connect the inside with the outside, as seen in the courtyards, patios, and overhanging terraces.  Connecting the users with nature, providing nice environs for work and repose.
