Xiaodi Zhu
Mr. Xiaodi Zhu graduated with a degree in architecture from the Architecture School of Tsinghua University. He is a National First-Class Registered Architect, an Entitled Expert with the State Council Allowance, and a Committee Member and Deputy Director in the Architectural Design Committee of Science and Technology for the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. He worked for the development of the People’s Republic of China and is a committee member in green and energy-efficient buildings for the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People’s Republic of China.
He is the Deputy Director of the Architectural Art Committee of the Chinese Artists Association, a concurrent professor at Tsinghua University, and a visiting professor at the Central Academy of Fine Arts.

ZXD Architects is a special team. The team makes significant efforts towards innovation and originality. No matter how large a project’s area is, they expect that people throughout the world will pay attention to what the project renders. Not only do their works depend on existing knowledge, but they also lay emphasis on emotional responses to a scene, thus forming an innovative idea and concept. This is a journey to discovery, and the firm hopes they are pioneers.
Currently, architecture has become a public artwork. The architect Xiaodi Zhu and the team have expanded their horizons to contemporary arts in related fields. And they regard visitors’ interactions with their works as the completion of their interpretations of spaces. They originated a new type of art: Architecture Installation.
