Project Description
T-house’s contemporary design blends in with its context
[Text as submitted by architect] Interior Design and Architecture Practice 28’Creative Studio introduces the completed ‘T-House’ in Quy Nhon City, Viet Nam. Located just a short distance from the bustling center, at the end of a small alley, the residence accommodates a young family. Aiming for a contemporary look that would still blend into the general context of the neighborhood, the design team follows a simplified construction method and applies basic finishing materials opting for economical solutions.
The structure puts up sliding doors to provide a sense of privacy while allowing natural light and breeze into the space. Open areas invite the natural element into the built volume, with each floor arranging planted spots and the terrace and garden standing suitable for outdoor gatherings.
Subtle textures and child-friendly furniture adorn the interior
The interior layout arranges the living room, kitchen, dining area, and common sitting area as an open continuous zone providing optimized circulation, ventilation, and visual continuity. The ground level serves as a communal area suitable for gatherings forming enough open spaces for the children yet remaining fully functional for the parents’ work.
The open space design of the living-kitchen area also makes the space more comfortable and airy. For the furniture, the design group combines modern elements as well as child-friendly fittings and textures and attends to functionality and optimized storage space for the family house.
