Project Description
[Text as submitted by the Architect] This project consists of the rehabilitation of an old stone house, attached to an apartment building, however, with good sun exposure and the privilege of privacy on a small terrace protected from the movement of the street.
With a small area of implantation, the objective was to hierarchize the areas by floors, adapt the space to contemporary ways of living, increasing both the functional capacity and the quality of the uses and, simultaneously, maintaining the image and construction characteristics.

On the entrance floor, we chose to distribute the living area and the kitchen in a large space in which we use the kitchen furniture to create a partition marked with green valchromat and with a small glass, creating a sculptural element. It was intended to minimize as much as possible the areas lost to circulation or irregularities.
The communication with the lower floor, where the sleeping area and the bathroom are located, is made through a discreet staircase, which ends in a small hall to the bedroom and where you find the washbasin area to support the sanitary installation. This is equipped with zenith lighting. The stairwell was designed to integrate the storage and wardrobe area of the room, in order to maximizing space.
Some personalized elements such as the design of all furniture and he care of choosing every detail enriches the experience of using this space.
