Times Higher Education has released its latest World University Rankings for the year of 2021. It includes 1,500 Universities across 93 Countries and Regions, making it the largest to date. The rankings uses 13 carefully caliberated performance indicators to asses the universitites in four main aspects: teaching, Research, Knowledge transfer and international outlook. This year’s ranking analysed more than 80 million citations across over 13 million research publications and included survey responses from 22,000 scholars globally.

The University of Oxford continues to top the ranking since the last five years now. Similarly American Universitites claim eight position in the top ten list. India is the only country having the maximum number of new entries (14) to the list, making it a total tally of 63.

In Architecture, A range of international schools made it to the list including Harvard, MIT, UCL, Yale and Peking University made it to the list.
