In this competition, we challenge designers to create versatile living solutions that can be easily transported and assembled, offering comfort and utility regardless of the location.
The proposed habitats should be more than mere shelters; they should be dynamic spaces that adapt to various environments and lifestyles, from the busy city landscapes to tranquil natural retreats.
This competition aims to reimagine mobile living solutions for the modern nomad. This challenge invites creative minds from across the globe to design adaptable, transportable living units that combine functionality with innovation, catering to the needs of those who embrace a mobile lifestyle.
We encourage architects and designers to develop habitational units that are not only practical and sustainable but also reflect the values and sensibilities of contemporary society.
How does your design intend to interrupt the usual perceptions of mobile living? How can your approach provide a new narrative in the discourse on adaptable and transportable living solutions?
This is a call to rethink traditional boundaries and propose innovative solutions that accommodate the fluidity of modern life. In a world where change is the only constant, our living environments must evolve to meet the demands of a lifestyle that values flexibility, mobility, and sustainability.
Requirements / Eligibility
Non Architecture Competitions are open to all human beings, from every age and cultural background, working in groups or individually. The registration fee is paid per team, regardless of how many members form it. Personal information of all the team members can be uploaded during the submission procedure of the final drawing.
PRICES ARE PER TEAM. A maximum number of 4 people can form a team.
The timing always refers to Central European Time (CET)

About the Organizer
The Non Architecture Competitions aim to explore unconventional and uncharted design solutions within architecture, urban planning, and design. From 2016 to 2019, Non Architecture organized a series of 10 competitions with the goal of redefining functional architectural typologies. In 2020, we entered a new phase structured around nine themes. Each theme approaches the significant challenges of today’s world from different angles.
During its 6 years in action, Non Architecture Competitions has run 21 competitions, engaged around 8000 participants in 183 countries, accumulated over 3000 design ideas, and released curated content in 19 books.
